Toddlers…big and small

 It makes you wonder, are some people ever out of the toddler stage?

 It turns out, in my house when it comes to food we all have some toddler in us. Like for instance, last week I was trying a new recipe that had some hidden veggies in it LOL. And you would think that would work, but not in my house.

 While trying to talk my daughter into trying the yummy new food, my husband all but true a tantrum because of the veggies involved in the process.

 It all started with my daughter telling me how she is not hungry and how “that thing” mind you my dinner didn’t look right. So I was trying to make sense out of it and see how on earth “that thing” as she called it actually looked wrong in her eyes.

 Than she came up with the solution, that involved my husband. If Daddy tries it I will too. Easy enough, right? Wrong.

 Daddy took a small bite, made a face and said “Ughhh are there vegetables in this” and put the fork down.

 Oh the look on my face was more that puzzled. I was furious and confused at the same time. Which got me thinking,do we all act like toddlers or is it just a guy thing LOL?

 In my house it seems I have big and small toddlers with agendas of their own.
