Red White And Blue 4Th Of July Cake

4Th of July may be behind us, but in a year another one is here. Why not plan ahead and use this easy to make recipe for a beautiful and easy Red White and Blue 4Th of July cake.

4th of july cakeIngredients:

1 box cake mix
1 can of icing or tub of Cool Whip
blueberries
strawberries or red raspberries

Directions:

Choose your favorite cake mix. Any flavor is fine. What ever your guests will love, popular choice is always a marble cake.

Choose fruits. You will need a pint of blueberries and another pint of strawberries or red raspberries. The raspberries are easier choice because you don’t have to cut them.

Choose your icing. You can either use a can of vanilla (or whipped vanilla which is easier to spread) or a tub of Cool Whip, which is always a crowd favorite but requires refrigeration.

Bake your cake using a glass or metal sheet cake pan, which ever size you have is fine, or pick up a disposable pan if you’ll be taking the cake with you to an event. Just follow the instructions on the cake mix. Let it cool completely and ice it.

Time to decorate, and decorating this cake is easy. Look at the picture, can it get any easier. Just arrange blueberries in the upper left corner of the cake and make red stripes out of red raspberries or strawberries sliced in half.

Done and ENJOY!!!
