Mommy’s Mini Vacation

Every now and than this Mommy here gets a little time off. Yes you heard me right. Now it really is up to this Mommy to chose how she spends her mini vacation. She could go out and do some shopping, spend her day on the internet, take a nap, or and this is a good one (don’t laugh) she can chose to CLEAN and do LAUNDRY and ORGANIZE her entire house! Yep a life of a crazy Mommy who even when she has a chance to relax she chooses to exhaust herself.

So how lucky did my day of mini me time vacation actually start…Well Friday it was, Hubby left for work all day (8am-8pm) and Princess got to spend a day with my in-laws (11am-8pm) Hubby would pick her up after work…and I could of done what ever I wanted LOL

What did I actually do…went blog hopping, commenting, and snapped a few pictures for a new bloggy friend and his cool post about messy desks LOL visit Greg HERE … than I decided to clean the living room just pick up a few toys, than few toys turned into cleaning my daughters room, than master bedroom, than office, than kitchen, dining room, bathroom…you see the picture…than I decided to do just one load of laundry, but in the end I did 5 and folded them all…so why relax right, I than vacuumed but no that wasn’t enough I used Swiffer too LOL so the floors would be shiny.

But than I again went to see what new things are happening in the bloggy world and instead of a nap lets say I decided to make a nice chicken and potatoes dinner!

In the end when Hubby and Princess came home I was more tired from my mini day off vacation than when we are all here and I actually work around the house…

OK now really HOW CRAZY AM I to spend entire day cleaning???

I need serious help people :P

    I find cleaning very therapeutic in some strange way but it is a good tired isn’t it very rewarding

    LOL isn’t it funny the things we do when we get a day off. But heck you can clean and be done in an hour or two vs trying to do it with the kids and do half of it before just giving up. This way you get it done and still have time to do a little something for you. Plus less stress!
