Mommy’s Little Artist

After a very interesting day of tantrums and tears, we all went our separate ways. Hubby into his home office to work, Princess to watch Dora, and me well as always I picked kitchen. Well someone had to make some food LOL!

Dinner went very silently, hmm…maybe that was a good thing (we all had our agendas) and only one who got to do something about it was Princess. Just imagine if I started jumping and throwing myself around. OK I’ll assure you that wouldn’t be a good thing at all!

So after dinner while I was busy with the dishes as always, Hubby was back where he left of before dinner, and Princess decided to do some art.

I’m serious I’ve never met a child who loves to draw more. She could do that for hours, and it started very early.

As mommy was deep, deep into her thoughts (while washing dishes…yes no dishwasher other than my poor hands), Princess comes all excited and proud of herself.

She made a portrait of herself for Mommy to put on the refrigerator. How sweet was that? I’ll tell you, very sweet and after all hugs and kisses and giggling we put the masterpiece on the display.

Now this is not her best work, but she was hurrying to surprise Mommy and she sure did. Did I ever tell you how much I love that kid? I probably did, but here is one more time just to be sure.

That’s so sweet! You gotta love those tantrums!

My little one has a trantrum when we are in the car and stop at a red light. He has always done this but when he was younger he would also get mad when I made right turns.

It’s very bright! Lucky you that she didn’t draw it on some wall or the couch!

I’ve got several permanent art pieces of the kids around the house…

LOL Relimom that you said that, because we certainly do have many of those too.
Our living room furniture is leader well it was now it’s covered with stretch slip covers since someone wrote all over it with a pen Ugh… and the walls have their little art pieces on for sure.
But it’s funny she only draws on if the walls are white, every wall that I have painted in the different color she doesn’t touch :)
