Makeup Talk

Interesting that most days I don’t wear makeup. Yet I really love it. There are boxes of it in the bathroom, so many different kinds, colors, anything you can think of it’s there.

There was time when I would put makeup on first thing in the morning, every day. I felt like it was a part of me, and I just had to have it. Without it I felt naked.

Than things changed. I don’t thing it’s fair to blame it on becoming a mom. Being a mom doesn’t say “no makeup”. It also doesn’t take forever to do, even though it does take some skill LOL but it’s not like this big task that time could be an issue.

It sure feels good to have it on. It does make a whole lot of difference when it comes to feeling pretty and confident.

Yet, most days I feel like it’s a special occasion thing to do. I feel like “Why on earth would I put makeup on in the morning and then clean the entire day?”, even though some days it helps.

Tell me: Do you put makeup on everyday? How does it make you feel?

I have to put on makeup otherwise you can’t see my eyes. I have light colored eyelashes. And now that I’m getting older, my skin tone is a little more uneven so I wear a good foundation.
But my make up is minimal. I only put on lots of eyeshadow and stuff if I’m going to church or out for a night.
