How To Make A Valentine Butterfly Wall Hanger

Kids love to make little cute projects for Valentine’s Day. And I’m sure most times moms help them out ;)

Since this is that time when we start getting ready for Valentine’s I thought to share with you a projects you and your kids will love.

I found this idea on Michaels.com a great place to get many cute ideas for projects with your kids, decorating, any crafts you like!

What you’ll need for this project:

“Pattern will be required for this and you can download it HERE

CPE 12” x 18” Rectangle Easy Felt- Red, Pink and White
Beacon® Kids Choice™ Glue
Scissors
1/8” Red Ribbon

Directions:

Cut the butterfly from Red felt.

Cut two large heart wings from Pink felt.

Cut two large and two medium Red hearts to go on the wings.

Cut four Pink hearts to go on the Red hearts.

Cut the body from White felt.

Cut three body stripes from Pink felt.

Glue the large Pink wings on the Red butterfly.

Glue the Pink hearts on the Red hearts, then glue the hearts on the wings as shown.

Glue the body on the butterfly. Glue stripes on the body.

Add crystal rhinestone eyes and decorations on the wings.

Glue a 10” Red ribbon hanger to the back of the butterfly.

Tip: Cut the felt shapes out using the pattern provided.”
