How Messy Can One 3 Year Old Be

Ok this is getting out of  control. My child won’t pick up her toys EVER, yet she lives them all over the house. Than of course I have to do all the work. But that wouldn’t bother me if she didn’t throw everything back on the floor as soon as I live her room. UGH…

You are not alone!! I can SO relate!! And the bad part is she has a bunch of toys in the living room – you know, so they’re ‘easy access’ for her to play with, since her room is way upstairs…I spent a whole day this past weekend reorganizing her room and making it all neat and tidy…and almost equal amount of time in the living room to clean up so when Papa came over it wouldn’t look like I’m a horrible housekeeper. What takes me HOURS to make nice, she can have torn apart and looking like a tornado in a matter of minutes…

Oh I know it only takes a second to turn everything upside down LOL
I keep making it and putting it away every evening before her bedtime, and in the morning it only takes two seconds and I see this!
Today I have no plans of touching anything, maybe if she can’t find what she’s looking for she’ll help out ;)

  4. Oh, I know all too well! I have 2 of them running around here!

  5. oh I can relate I clean up since I can’t stand it but then Will just gets it all out again

Wow- that looks just like my house! Except in my case, it is my whole house and 2 kids who make the mess. I clean up and they “find” things they haven’t seen in a few days because they were under other toys, and they take them back out to play and the process starts over.
