Dr.Hippo Books Series Review And Giveaway

My little girl loves to read and I really enjoy reading with her all the cool story boos. It’s our special time together before her bedtime.
Wen I saw the opportunity to do a review for Dr. Hippo Series I jumped to it right the way. I knew that Princess would enjoy those stories because they are for her age group (2-7) and they would not only be entertaining but at the same time educational.
There is no easy way explaining to a toddler what is really happening when they are going trough a cold, fever, sore throat, earache or stomach problems. Just recently we went trough some rough days of colds and frequent bathroom visits, I really wish I had Dr. Hippo series to read to her at the time and help her understand better what she was experiencing.
Charlotte Cowan, M.D. author of the Dr. Hippo series has written 5 amazing books and answered those common questions children have when going trough rough times. She has made it easy for little ones to understand, with cute characters and interesting dialogs.
At the same time she has made it easy for parents as well, not only do they have a book as a guide on explaining to their child what they are experiencing, but also there is a Parent’s Guide on the back of the each book to help guide them trough some questions they may have, like when to call a doctor, what to offer to their child in a given situation and on.
The titles in the series include: The Little Elephant with the Big Earache, Katie Caught a Cold, Peeper Has a Fever, Sadie’s Sore Throat, The Moose with Loose Poops.
The first day when we received Dr. Hippo series Princess couldn’t wait for us to read them. She loved all of the little characters, the Elephant Eddie, little Katie bear, Peeper frog, giraffe Sadie and Miles the moose. She listened to each story with big interest and commented on the things she recognized happening to her. Her favorite of five was a story about little giraffe Sadie’s Sore Throat.
I am so glad that we got this opportunity to read and review this wonderful children’s series of books. Also I would like to thank Dr. Cowan for the opportunity!
