Bathroom Rules

I know you’re asking yourselves “What the …” are we at the right place, and yes you are.  See what brought this post possible today is our issue with flashing.

You know (and I’m sure many can relate) I don’t think there is anything worst than cleaning the nasty bathrooms. OK even when clean I see them nasty, it’s a bathroom for crying out loud.

But one thing that can put me in tears finding is the toilet not flushed EVERY TIME I GO TO THE BATHROOM.

And no the answer to your question it’s not Hubby.

My ”don’t ever flush” problem is my little 4 year old PRINCESS…makes me question this nick name so much.

Why oh why doesn’t she flush…we went trough this,  and I just don’t get it.

She is going trough this faze of “privacy” and every time she goes for number 2 she closes the door (not completely just so I couldn’t see her) and she does her little business, than wipes (yea she has an issue with me wiping her LOL is it too early for her to wipe on her own??? she does use moist toilet paper), washes her hands and she just lives. And if I’m not quick enough to flush on several occasions we had company coming over and yes I’m sure everyone thought I was the one…trust me!

I keep reminding her but no the Princess just ignores me! So I’m wondering for how long this could be going on…

OK OK I know you had enough…but I had to tell on her, I told her if she didn’t start flushing I’ll tell EVERYONE :P

That’s hilarious – or not really! LOL! But, I think we all go through this. I even go through it with my daycare kids. What I do is this…I make them come back into the bathroom and flush and remind them that I don’t want to see their poo! LOL! Sometimes it takes a while to get it…but they eventually do!

Personally… when I was a child I was afraid of the toilet flushing…Ii always thought it would spray me with poo water… or worse suck me into that very same poo water. maybe her issue with the flush is the same? Have you asked her if the sound is too loud for her?

And four is definitely a fine age! all my kids started potty training at 2, so by four they are able to wipe on their own just fine…
